Creator, Purpose Woodworks

Hailing from a creative family, Tate has alway been passionate about learning how to solve problems. 

After spending years working in Boston's financial world, Tate realized living and working in Vermont would fit his lifestyle better. In Vermont, Tate worked in a commercial mill work facility, where he gained many of his carpentry skills. In 2010, Tate and his wife built and created Meditrina: Wine and Cheese, in Chester, Vermont.

With fifteen years of experience building and renovating homes and commercial spaces, Tate now specializes in custom cabinetry and finish work. When Tate is not in the wood shop, you will find him skiing down a mountain with his son, enjoying Portland's food scene, or biking through the forest. Tate lives in Yarmouth, Maine with his wife, Sara and son, Elliott.
